Laurel is a long-time collaborator with Tumbleweeds Theatre, with a background in non-profit management and event coordination. She has organized a wide range of events, including the Victoria Autism Awareness Walk for several years, autism resource fairs, educational conferences, youth camps, and various fundraisers. She is also a founder of Mosaic Learning Society Victoria and has created and facilitated a range of arts, educational, and social programs for children and youth. As a designer, Laurel has contributed costumes, masks, and props to several Tumbleweeds productions, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Brahm and the Angel, With a Little Help from Our Friends, and Alice in Wonderland. She has also led youth workshops in mask and prop-making for theatre. Now based in France, Laurel’s focus is primarily on her art and design, and she is delighted to return to A Little Green Leaf and to be part of the team bringing this production to life.
